The Tuusula Housing fair (Asuntomessut), which opens to the public on the 3rd of August features a selection of Finnish design drain solutions in several Housing fair homes. In line with modern trends, a lot of natural wood color, large tiles and edgy black details can be seen in the bathrooms. A suitable design cover for the floor drain has been selected for the shower space of several houses, to complement the chosen design.
Popular rectangular line floor drain, Vieser Line, can be found in the houses no. 2, called Pikkupolku Modern and Pikkupolku Retro. These sites both feature the tiled Vieser Line, which the customer has chosen the desired tile for, and the design cover Vieser Line, made out of stainless steel and painted in matt black. Vieser Line can also be found in Jukkatalo house 14, called Talo Railo. Vieser Line allows many different finishes and placement in the bathroom, but most typically it is installed right by the wall. This method of installation makes it possible to use large floor tiles.
The house 8, called Dekotalo Ruuti, features a large and light wooden design cover, Vieser Square on the floor of a sleek, minimalistic bathroom. This square shaped design cover has been on display at Habitare and Stockholm Furniture and Light fair. The same cover was also seen as a dark wooden version at the Design by Lauri TV show, in Ville Leino’s second home in Inkoo. The wood is the upcoming material in the bathrooms and Vieser is the first to introduce the use of water-resistant and responsibly produced wood to the bathroom floor.
“We are pleased that Vieser’s design covers can be seen in the bathrooms of more and more homes. People have clearly welcomed this new line of products and at the Tuusula fair they have been used inventively and elegantly as part of the residents’ own bathroom dreams. Our customers are both trend-conscious and environmentally savvy. For them, a functional and damage-safe everyday life with our drains comes without saying. We strive to meet this need with our design products, which combine timeless aesthetics, sustainability and secure technical functionality,” concludes Annika Jyllilä-Vertigans, CEO of Vieser.
