Tuulia, a house by the prefabricated house company Jukkatalo, was one of the houses featured at this year’s Finnish Housing Fair, which was held in Tuusula’s Rykmentinpuisto.
In summer 2020, the Finnish Housing Fair turned 50, and the special anniversary fair took place in Tuusula, near Helsinki. Every house that rose in Rykmentinpuisto was more stunning than the last, and together they formed the 2020 Housing Fair area.
One of the spectacular houses is Jukkatalo’s Tuulia. The house was designed and built for a hypothetical family consisting of a mother who works at home as an artist, a father who travels a lot for work and their baby.
The main goals for the house were to achieve a bright, elegant and, above all, functional, home. The neutral and natural colours used throughout the house continue in the first-floor shower room. Large sand-coloured tiles create a relaxing and down-to-earth atmosphere in the shower room.
Two Vieser Line linear drains were chosen for the downstairs shower room. The two linear drains installed for each of the showers put the beautiful finishing touch on the shower room. A single linear floor drain would have been sufficient to safely remove water from the shower room, as the capacity of one Vieser Line drain is enough to remove water from two shower heads.
